Welcome Home

Franklin J. Schaffner died shortly after directing this Rip Van Winkle story about a Vietnam veteran (Kris Kristofferson), long assumed to be dead, who has in fact been hiding out in Cambodia and now returns to Vermont, where wife JoBeth Williams is remarried to Sam Waterston. Apparently the title is ironic. With Brian Keith; written by Maggie Kleinman, with music by Henry Mancini.
