Four shorts from the Whitney Museum of American Art's biennial exhibition, all of them dealing with war. Art-mark, Bringing It to You!, an irreverent screed from an Internet activist group, attacks the excesses of the corporate world, but the format isn't all that artful, and the humor is so tongue-in-cheek that sardonic NPR commentator Andrei Codrescu is cast as a right-thinking mutual-fund manager. Walid Ra'ad's faux documentary Dead Weight of a Quarrel Hangs hints at conspiracy by deftly connecting disparate incidents from the protracted Lebanese civil war. Rebecca Baron's Okay Bye-bye details how a collection of photos of inmates in a Cambodian concentration camp becomes an exhibit in a commercial gallery. On the same program, Tran T. Kim-Trang's Ekleipsis (reviewed in the listing for Being Claudine). 52 min.
