Re: “Game Changer

Actually "Super fan", the quote was, "It might look nice for fans, but it's badly-played derby."
And if you want to talk about how sports are supposed to be played for the fans, then you're the one who needs to wake up. Sports (like any game_ are about winning, not about looking cool while you do it. That's why kids play basketball in their backyards or soccer in a field somewhere. These teams are trying to win; not just skate fast, turn left, and send people flying into the crowd all the time. What you're talking about sounds more like Roller Jam.
Also, those crazy, out-of-control big hits you like? Yeah, that's how skaters get hurt. So if that's all fans want, then fuck those fans. I'd rather see a team play with skill, strength and STRATEGY than with big, sloppy hits. If I want that, I'll go watch some crummy start-up league stumble around the track.
I'm a super fan myself, and I'd rather see real derby than the crap you're talking about. If the slow play is too boring for you, either stop going to big-name games or join up as a coach and teach your team how to beat it. But I guaran-damn-tee that whining about it on the internet some some entitled six year-old is going to fix diddly-squat.

Re: “Game Changer

Funny how a strategy that your team didn't come up with and can't figure out how to either beat or use well is suddenly bullshit. This reminds me of people who play first-person shooters online and always accuse the guy with the rocket launcher of "cheating." If you're losing, you need to get better.
