This annual Chicago Art Dealers Association series opens Friday 7/15 with 20-some receptions at galleries in River North (5-8 PM) and the West Loop (6-9 PM); free shuttles run between Superior and Franklin and Washington and Peoria 6-8 PM. Saturday 7/16 A gallery walk starting from Starbucks, 750 N. Franklin, visits Maya Polsky, Byron Roche, Perimeter, and Roy Boyd, 10:30 AM-noon. . . . Painter David Lozano, curator Matt Goebel, I Space director Mary Antonakos, and critic Margaret Hawkins discuss "Beauty, Truth, and the Making of Art" at Zolla Lieberman, 325 W. Huron, 2 PM.

Wednesday 7/20 Critic Michael Weinstein leads a tour of current exhibits at Flatfile, 217 N. Carpenter, 6 PM. . . . The Chicago collectors whose holdings make up the new Block Museum exhibit "Sculpting in Glass" talk about loaning work, at Marx-Saunders, 230 W. Superior, at 6 PM, then at Habatat, 222 W. Superior, at 7 PM.

Thursday 7/21 Catherine Edelman and artists she represents offer "tips on getting your work shown," at Edelman's gallery, 300 W. Superior, 6 PM. . . . "Experimental puppet/performance artists" put on a show at Gwenda Jay/Addington, 704 N. Wells, 7 PM.
