Unrelated: A Father and Son Sketch Show

When: Saturdays. Continues through March 21 2009
Price: $5
Aaron Caponigro teams up with his real-life 11-year-old son Jake in this kid-friendly sketch revue. The premise involves a dad chauffeuring his son, who's made it big in showbiz. Along the way we get an appearance by Harry the Scary (Aaron), an effective gag clown who passes out noisemakers to the audience; multiple scenes involving melodramatic recitations of Shakespeare; several funny video segments with creative editing and lots of animated toys; and live-action bits of nonexistent movies. Jake doesn't yet have his pop's timing or pizzazz, but his instincts are solid and he does a pretty good Schwarzenegger--and both Caponigros show a knack for entertaining the young and old. --Ryan Hubbard
