Dear Reader,

I would like to commend your editorial staff who took a piece of fluff written by Cheryl Trykv ["Likely Stories," June 10] and turned it into an article. Though it was an offensive portrayal of Wicker Park and an admission of the type of people who are in fact destroying it with their dollhouse condos and meat market dance clubs, I could find absolutely nothing substantial enough to criticize her for (scour though I did), except possibly for being a dope-smoking yuppie. And while I can comment on the bad judgment that led the Reader to publish such a pointless piece, I can only hope that Cheryl Trykv and her "pets" stay out of my neighborhood. But Matt (in the article) can come over anytime he wants.
