This 1980 feminist morality play by Claire Luckham charts the title character's course from punching bag to lady wrestler. Emphasizing the way Tanzi's whole life is a fight, the play unfolds in a wrestling ring and is divided into ten rounds in which she squares off against her abusive father, judgmental mother, sadistic teachers, unfaithful husband, and others. Backed by a live rock band playing an original score by Curtis Powell, the cast of Carrie Hardin's staging for Prologue Theatre Company has the right rowdy energy, but the fight choreography is sloppily executed—a problem, seeing as how the whole show is fighting. Often more entertaining than the main event is the disdainful ringside commentary provided by Omer Abbas Salem as a martini-swilling referee. —Zac Thompson
