Freed from jail on a short leave, the protagonist of this tawdry, nonsensical 2001 crime thriller inexplicably falls in love with a hooker; together they join his brother on a flight from the law in a stolen car. Director Layia Giourgou seems to have taken her inspiration from the Golan-Globus exploitation flicks of the 80s, in which Eurotrash actors go laughably ballistic in between bouts of steamy sex. The reduction of women to sexual playthings for hire is queasily balanced against way too many shots of Alexis Georgoulis in the nude; the cool jazz score contends in vain against the tone of general hysteria. In Greek with subtitles. 95 min.
