Joe Zarrow's very funny satire on Chicago gentrification skewers yuppies, slackers, and white ethnics alike for their self-righteous sense of entitlement. The play's venue--a long, narrow storefront--is challenging, but director Cassy Sanders steps up with a highly kinetic production that exploits the space's every resource. Plus you get to watch passersby gawk on the sidewalk outside. The exuberant Walkabout Theater Company cast ramps up the characters for optimal satirical effect. Emma Stanton is especially appealing as a politically correct coffeehouse owner, and Keith Neagle does well with the minimal time his moocher character spends as the play's moral conscience. Too many endings make this 90-minute evening a bit long but don't come close to ruining the experience. --Laura Molzahn
