David Rice's celebrated ambulatory adaptation of the biography and fiction of Edgar Allan Poe ("The Telltale Heart," "The Pit and the Pendulum"), which has had several runs at the Peabody Mansion in Oak Brook, now plays with Oak Park Festival Theatre in the Cheney mansion. Christian Gray reprises the role of Poe under the direction of Skyler Schrempp. Audience members with mobility issues should contact OPFT ahead of time to arrange accommodations, as the staging involves climbing stairs.
