The Kids Grow Up

An awful movie by an awful father, this 2009 documentary draws on countless hours of video footage in which director Doug Block (51 Birch Street) invaded the privacy of his teenage daughter. The movie also touches on his relationships with his parents, siblings, and wife (the latter dealing with clinical depression), but none of them is unique or compelling enough to justify Block's exploitation of them. The consumer-grade video looks terrible too.
