Fear and loathing on a New York subway train, with Tony Musante doing his familiar psycho routine. The best reason to see this overwound impersonation of TV-movie seriousness (1967) is Ed McMahon of The Tonight Show, playing a terrified subway passenger (naturally, he's got a seat). Larry Peerce directed; with Martin Sheen, Beau Bridges, Jack Gilford, Thelma Ritter, Brock Peters, Ruby Dee, Mike Kellin, and Gary Merrill.
