To the editors:

Toward the end of your article on organist Paul Manz [October 6], an article that praises Manz's piety as well as his playing ability, the author says:

". . . he signals that he's had enough of a conversation by checking his watch. "He has an absence of patience,' says [Martin] Marty. "He doesn't suffer fools gladly."'

Some Christian, that Manz. It seems to me he misses the whole point.
