The Greatest Movie

I too was appalled and upset that the mainstream media now wishes to rewrite Ali's life and sugarcoat it [Media, August 16]. However, you failed to mention that a movie, The Greatest, is out there based on the book, and the opening scene shows Ali tossing the medal in the river.

The good thing is the movie documents the event.

Any black person over 40 years old can recite Ali's life, from the Olympics to the affairs, the marriages, the politics, and on and on, so we know the truth.
