Molly Miller's new late-night sketch comedy at Public House Theatre is a psycho-thriller spoof based on crackpot conjectures about the Olsen twins. After a grown-up Ashley Olsen arrives at a police station with a textbook guilty conscience to inform two daffy detectives that her twin sister has gone missing, we bounce between scenes of inept interrogation and flashbacks to neurotic incidents in her career. The story swarms with early-90s TV references, including a clever skewering of America's Funniest Home Videos (though Miller's send-up would have more bite if her Bob Saget impersonation weren't so slack-jawed). But as the two time lines converge, the conjectures get more fanciful, the dialogue more dully explanatory, and the end of the show feels dizzy and drugged. —Jena Cutie
