The Darkroom

When: Thu., Nov. 19, 7:30 p.m. 2009
www.twentypercentchicago.org
20% Theatre Company Chicago will feature the work of Kelly Flynn and Roell Schmidt in The Darkroom: The Next Generation of Women Playwrights. The Darkroom was created to give Chicago's emerging women playwrights an opportunity to see their newest pieces unfold before an audience, while exposing the rest of us to their exciting, cutting-edge work. The audience will be invited to participate in a post-show discussion with the artists to offer feedback about the playwright's work. The Darkroom: The Next Generation of Women Playwrights will run for four nights only, from Thursday, Nov. 19 through Sunday, Nov. 22, at 7:30 p.m. Thursday and Saturday's performances will feature Whole World is Watching by Roell Schmidt, and Friday and Sunday will feature Call It by Keely Flynn. Tickets are $10 for one reading or $15 for "Festival Pass" for both readings. All shows will be followed by a post-show discussion.
