Re: “Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde

I thought this was an absolutely amazing production. I tried to study up a bit about Oscar Wilde before seeing the show, but watching his story live was an absolute heart breaker. I can't even begin to talk about how many emotional levels I saw on this stage, because everyone in the 9-person cast pushed so many buttons, I found myself laughing, crying, and almost wanting to jump up on stage and speak for Oscar Wilde myself. It's been a while since I have been through a carousel of emotions during a show, but that's exactly what happened.
Also, get there early for the preshow. It's obvious these actors are friends in real life and it definitely comes out with their chemistry on stage.
The cast and director should be extremely proud of their production. I stayed engaged in this show the entire time, and never once did I feel anything was drawn out. It's definitely a show that I highly recommend every should see.
