In this gentle, low-key first feature by Jae-eun Jeong, five South Korean schoolgirls graduate into the working world and discover that no amount of cell-phone chatter will keep the bonds between them from dissolving. Doo-na Bae gives the best performance as the quiet and emotionally grounded Tae-hee, who works at her parents' bathhouse, types up the musings of a handicapped poet (his words appear as text wrapping around the desk, one of the film's many whimsical visual effects), and struggles to reconcile two pals, an ambitious working woman who's moved to Seoul for a brokerage job and a severely depressed orphan who lives with her grandparents in a collapsing shack. In Korean with subtitles. 112 min.
