Re: “Symphony of the Goddesses

Extremely disappointing. The sound design for this concert was a mess. A microphone was on the first violin the entire time and drown out the rest of the orchestra. The harpist messed up every single solo, like she'd never practiced. The orchestra fell out of sink with each other at least five times, and the only reason they got back together was because there were visual cues on an unnecessary compilation on a screen covering most the orchestra. Either the flute didn't have a microphone near her, or she fake played, because all of those beautiful solos were completely unheard. There wasn't a song that was pleasant to listen to. Whenever the trumpets and trombones played, they couldn't hold the notes. They became to loud, the note broke, and they became quiet. It was just like listening to a middle school orchestra. I felt like I had to lower my expectations half way through, and I was still disappointed. I was looking forward to this concert for a really long time, because I absolutely love this music. I'm never going to another concert like this again. A waste of $48.
