When: Sat., Feb. 13, 11:30 a.m. 2010
www.songsalive.org/chicago
SONGSALIVE! CHICAGO SONG CRITIQUE WORKSHOP WITH GUEST SPEAKERS DAN KUYPERS & ERIC SHEINKOP FROM MUSICDEALERS.COM Now over 10 years old, Songsalive! is the world’s largest non-profit educational organization dedicated to the support and promotion of songwriters and composers worldwide. Songsalive! holds workshops where songwriters gather to share their songs, gain feedback and develop relationships within the songwriting communities we have created around the world. The workshop includes an in-the-round song critique session where writers present one song each - either on tape, CD or live - and receive professional, constructive feedback on your song by a music industry professional. The Songsalive! Chicago Workshop is moderated by Mary Lemanski on the second Saturday of every month, and this month our industry guest speakers, Dan Kuypers and Eric Sheinkop, will discuss “Music Supervision and Licensing: How to Get Your Music Placed in TV, Film, Advertising and Videogames.”
