A benefit concert in memoriam of Layla Randall Brown. Born and raised in Chicago, Layla battled an undiagnosable, seizure-related condition for the past few years before passing away on Saturday, Nov.7 at just 29 years of age. She is survived by her husband, Sam, her son, London, her parents, Richard and Arnelle, and her sister and brother, Joy and Luke. Ticketing is $5 and all ages. 100% of all ticket proceeds will benefit Layla's family, supporting bereavement travel costs, medical bills, and the education of Layla's son, London. Contributing, Chicago-based artists have executed a nationwide tour or headlined a Chicago performance in the past month, including: Jacob Heiss (curator) and Alberto Alfaro of Identity Crises Inc.
