Jenni Sorkin's Journey (1998) is about tracing Jewish roots. Daniel Eisenberg's Displaced Person (1998) works with newsreel footage of Hitler arriving in Paris during the Nazi occupation. Richard Fung's Dirty Laundry (1996) traces Asian-Canadian roots in relation to the Canadian landscape. Sarah Jane Lapp and Jenny Perlin's Happy Are the Happy (1998) also works with images of exile.
