In Joe Anderson and Demian Krentz's elaborate conceit, the Binjimmons brothers, Adam and Chauncey, started exchanging letters two weeks before Christmas, 1864--when Chauncey was off fighting for the Confederacy--and kept it up through Halloween, 1871. Now their collected correspondence is the subject of a sort of living-history exhibit in which two actors (Anderson and Krentz) give dramatic readings of the missives. Or at least all the missives historians have been able to find: there's a five-year gap in the collection. Well, sir, guess what? The long-lost letters fall into the actors' hands on the very night we're seeing the exhibit. All that backstory ends up delivering an amiable but only mildly amusing show, featuring adventures in the Wild West, a heroic dog, an insane matriarch, and a train ride through a dark tunnel. --Tony Adler
