The Sex Pistols' ill-fated concert tour of America in January 1978 has been documented on a handful of videos, and this gig at the Longhorn Ballroom in Dallas (formerly a strip joint owned by Jack Ruby) is remembered mostly for its mayhem. The group is showered with trash from the audience, and bassist Sid Vicious, stripped to the waist with GIMME A FIX written on his chest, gets hit in the face with a can and purposely bleeds all over himself. He's too wasted to play (by the end he's broken three of his four strings), but guitarist Steve Jones, drummer Paul Cook, and vocalist Johnny Rotten bang out some of the most volcanic music in rock history.
