Second Saturday at Two Concert Series

The Second Saturday at Two concert series will present the Chicago Flute Quartet which will perform at St. James Chapel of the Quigley Pastoral Center on Saurday, November 14 at 2:00 pm. The Chicago Flute Quartet is a newly formed professional ensemble dedicated to virtuosic performances and innovative programming.With extensive backgrounds performing as soloists, chamber and orchestral musicians and years of friendship together, the flutists, Janice MacDonald, Karin Ursin, Susan Saylor, and Jennie Brown, perform on flutes, piccolos, altos, and bass flutes interchangeably. The ensemble had its premiere performance with the debut of Lita Grier's Echoes Over Time for the Chicago Flute Club.. Second Saturday at Two is a free concert series presented by Friends of the Windows, a non-sectarian volunteer group. The chapel entrance is located at 835 N. Rush Street, one block west of Michigan Avenue.
