Re: “P.F. Chang's China Bistro

My fiance kept coming back from Arizona and California business trips raving about these PF Chang restaurants and their Lettuce Wraps. I wasn't too impressed. Then one opened here. And I must say, it was one of the best suggestions she has ever made. We've even called for carry out, driving into the city from Wicker Park to pick it up. It's that good.

The space is lively, open, and dark with subtle lighting. There is seating upstairs and down. It's a great place to go with friends. I suggest ordering several appetizers (especially the Chicken Lettuce Wraps) and several entress (I'd say three) to sample the variety of dishes. I think I have found my new favorite Chinese restaurant. If only they delivered. I hate to say it's better than Papajin in Wicker Park, but it is. There are so many diverse dishes to choose from, as well as some old favorites. You could make a night of it by just ordering appetizers (I would pass on the Northern Style Spare Ribs though). With over 40 entrees to choose from, go nuts and order several. I plan on going back again and again. Plus, it's close to the 600 N. Michigan movie theater, so make a night of it.

It's still very new, lets say three weeks old as of 2/10 so go before it gets huge. You'll thank me.
