Re: “Mayor Rahm does his best Richard Nixon

If the state of Illinois and especially Chicago is as broke as they claim, it is definitely time to look for new sources of revenue. Why not pot? People are gonna smoke it anyway and I'm sure a newer penalty will not deflect the want for the drug. Hey politicians, do us all a favor and legalize the stuff. I would much rather hear about how high someone got as compared to shootings over the money and turf wars.

Re: “While ISIS recruits, our government watches

This story struck me as very interesting because like Khan, I've felt that I've been the subject of government onlookers. Some similarities are the email accounts and the phone interruptions. What took me as being strange in this story is the amount of time that it took to question Khan after all of this information had been accumulated on him. There was a recent story in the news of an Islamic sympathizer opening fire on a Navy/Marine recruiting office. It's a shame that the FBI, CIA or whatever governmental agency in charge in the lovely state of Tennessee did not have the wherewithal to swoop down on that terrorist. Very informative article and as always, I thank Mick Dumke for the good read.

Re: “Ben's Bar-Be-Cue: On the (very) short list of the city's greatest barbecue

If it's located near a DJ Sub it must be good. DJ Subs used to have the best hamburgers. I don't know why I'm talking about another store in this post, but it's good based on an establishment that it's next to.

Re: “The Tim Floyd era begins at the Chicago Public Library

The Chicago Public Library system is in shambles in trying to serve the underprivileged areas of Chicago. Whether they need a new TIF or some other set aside to provide more services to Chicagoland libraries. Something needs to be done.

Re: “Ghostface Killah, Saigon, Sheek Louch, Aerias

Ghostface Killah, Method Man, The RZA, and Ol' Dirty Bastard were my favorites from the Wu. He ain't made nothing in a while and it would be good to hear some of the old school flavor.
