In Edna St. Vincent Millay's Aria da Capo, a frivolous farce is interrupted by the dark tale of two shepherds who kill each other in a land dispute and then resumes over the shepherds' dead bodies. Here, Millay's 1919 one-act verse play is paired with Lorenzo B's Turmoil, Mystification: A British Comedy, about four Brits who get trapped in a room and try to philosophize their way out. Both scripts flirt with the surreal, but other than that they don't have a thing in the world in common. Any merits they may possess are lost in this inept, incoherent production directed by Christopher Jeracki (Aria) and Lorenzo B (Turmoil), whose primary interests appear to be funny accents and metatheatrics—in that order. —Zac Thompson
