An independent feature by Chicagoan Jim McDermott (Until Daybreak), scripted by producer Kevin Armold from a McDermott story. Set in a small southern town, the ambiguous plot concerns the murder of a man that was disguised as a suicide and is unraveled years later by an old friend who turns up to collect a small inheritance. It's been several months since I saw this film, but if memory serves the presentation is rather formal, the plot deliberately enigmatic, and the acting somewhat variable. With Mark Johnson, Terry Dunn, Phila Broich, Ed Hofmann, Lisa Ghio, and Erin Copen.
