The fight choreography of martial-arts icon Sammo Hung (TV's Martial Law) outshines his direction of actors in this 1983 kung fu comedy about a rich merchant's spoiled son (Yuen Biao, a sparring buddy and frequent collaborator of both Hung and Jackie Chan) who is humbled by an ass-kicking female impersonator and learns to be a master fighter. Of course, all this is just a pretext for dazzling fights and the sort of coarse slapstick popular with the Cantonese, plot be damned. In Cantonese with subtitles. 100 min.
