Potbelly Sandwich Works | Lincoln Park | American | Restaurant
Popular toasted-sandwich shop that started as an antiques store and looks it.

Our Review

The Potbelly chain started out as a Lincoln Avenue antiques store where the owner decided to drum up business by selling shakes and subs from a snack bar in the back corner. When he realized that he was selling more subs than antiques, he turned the whole place into a restaurant. Remnants of the old days are still visible on the walls, the ceiling -- just about everywhere you look. The menu is limited to 12 Rater-praised sandwiches made with crusty bread, melted cheese, and a variety of fillings.
