Re: “Jin Ju

Bearing in mind we had a group of 8 on a Saturday night, our experience was overall average. Everyone arrived within 10 minutes of our reservation time but it still took another 45 minutes before we were seated. And, we seated ourselves. Appetizers and drinks came out right away and were great. I really enjoyed the idea of the sojutini. Our entrees took nearly 1 1/2 hours to arrive and many of the dishes which traditionally are not served cold, were. The bulgogi had a lot of fat and was tough. The dol-sot bi-bim-bap was ordered with no mushrooms but had them, along with a mother load of red pepper paste. We could hardly eat it! However, our waiter was very understanding/apologetic. If you're looking for a trendy restaurant, this is the place. If you're looking for authentic, you're better off going to a mom/pop Korean place. I would try Jin Ju again with a smaller group and not on a Saturday night.
