June 1, 10:50 PM, 3000 block of North Clark. Criminal damage to property. Victim parked and returned to car after several hours to find it slathered with eggs.

June 10, 8:18 PM, 1000 block of West Lake. Burglary. Responding to 911 call police pulled over and searched suspects' car, finding five boxes of frozen hot dogs and five boxes of beef pizza puffs stolen from warehouse.

Between June 8 and June 13, 1200 block of West Lake. Burglary. Unknown offenders slipped away from packing-company loading dock with 70 cases of Polish ham.

June 16, 6:15 PM, 6300 block of South Mozart. Assault. Offender with switchblade threatened marcher in antiviolence rally. Victim reported threat to officer participating in march, who arrested offender.

June 24, 5 PM, 700 block of West Roscoe. Reckless conduct, resisting arrest, criminal damage to property. Mounted police attempted to remove west suburban man pushing, shoving, and striking spectators at gay pride parade. Offender punched officer's mount.

June 29, 12:50 PM, 4300 block of North Ashland. Criminal trespass. Woman observed 28-year-old man drinking from her backyard garden hose. Victim ordered man to leave, prompting him to approach her window and lick the glass. Threatened with police action, offender dropped his trousers. Police arrested offender sitting in front of victim's house.

July 9, 9:50 AM, 2200 block of South State. Shoplifting. Supermarket security guard observed man with rabbit's-head tattoo stuffing assorted lunch meats and aromatherapy lotions into clothing. While detained, offender bit store employee on forearm. Employee declined medical attention.
