Re: “Zaytune Mediterranean Grill

I was a long time patron of Zaytune's until today. I purchased a large hummus to go on 2/12/16, and after my first few bites bit down into something hard which I thought was an olive pit. I was shocked to find it was a piece of glass! I saved the remaining hummus and the glass. I contacted the Bridgeport location the next day when they opened and they took my info. 2 days later I still had not been contacted. I called another location on 2/15/16 and was able to be put in touch with the owner Daniel. Daniel told me to stop by the Bridgeport location that evening to discuss the situation. He didn't show up and spoke to me on the phone. He told me they didn't use glass and insinuated that I put the glass in myself. I was never asked if I or anyone else was injured who consumed the hummus. I was appalled at the lack of customer service and insinuation. I have been a loyal customer since 2009 and believe that the handling of the situation was extremely discourteous. I will never give my business to establishments that show no concern for its patrons health and provide subpar service.
