NPerks of Nudity | In this new play, Pavement Group artistic director David Perez displays a gift for creating short, vivid scenes that reveal volumes about his young, confused, somewhat spoiled middle-class characters. But he hasn't figured out how to knit these moments into a coherent story. And the premise--three friends are forced to spend the night in their car in the wilderness--feels like just an excuse to keep the characters onstage and talking about their myriad mildly dramatic problems. Director Margot Bordelon overcomes some of the script's weaknesses with superb casting and strong stage pictures. But by the middle of the first act it's clear Perez is more lost than his characters. --Jack Helbig a Through 11/27: Sat 8 PM, Sun-Mon 7 PM, EP Theater, 1820 S. Halsted, 773-278-9083, $10-$15.
