Pandorum

Astronauts Dennis Quaid and Ben Foster awake from suspended animation on a spaceship grimy enough to make the one from Alien look like a Trump casino. They have no memory of liftoff or knowledge of their mission, so Quaid parks himself behind a flickering control panel, periodically barking “Stand down!” and other military things, while Foster heads off to explore the dimly lit vessel, which proves to be infested with zombies. Are they real, or are the men suffering from “pandorum,” a space traveler’s complaint characterized by paranoia, hallucinations and endless expository dialogue? Christan Alvart directed this sci-fi actioner, the sort of thing that makes you wish you were playing a video game instead. R, 108 min.
