Over the Top

You're out of work, your wife is dying, you're losing the respect of your son. What would you do? What would any man do? Well, what Sylvester Stallone does is take up "the challenging, physically punishing sport of competition arm wrestling." Of course. The way to a kid's heart is through his daddy's biceps, though this big daddy looks more like terminal Dada. Menahem Golan (The Delta Force) directed this 1987 drama; with Susan Blakely, Robert Loggia, and David Mendenhall.
