To the editors:

In the last paragraph of my review of the film Athens, Ga. -- Inside/Out (April 3), I spaced out and said that the rock band Pylon disbanded in 1983 shortly after the release of their LP Gyrate. This is obviously untrue, since -- as I said earlier in the same paragraph, Gyrate came out in 1980. It was of course the LP Chomp! and not Gyrate that was Pylon's 1983 vinyl farewell. I apologize for the enormous inconvenience my error must have caused for countless millions of people.
