[Re: The Works, February 16]

Being a 15-year resident of the Logan Square community, I suppose I can say that I've seen many changes, many for the better, some (like Starbucks--uh-oh, there goes the neighborhood), well, not so great. Having been moderately active with the previous aldermanic election--going door-to-door on Election Day, watching the polling places, etc--I've come to realize that perhaps there really is no difference in who runs the ward. So this time around, instead of getting overly involved in the issues, I'm going to vote for the prettiest one. After all, an aldermanic race is pretty much about popularity, and in popularity contests, looks do account for quite a bit. Hats off to you, Mr. Sotomayor. You get my vote based on looks alone.
