Casual Middle Eastern place in Evanston; a good carryout option.

Our Review

This quaint Evanston storefront “doesn’t break the mold of Middle Eastern restaurants,” according to one Rater, but it’s reasonably priced and the food is consistent. Northwestern students appreciate the lunch special -- a generous beef, lamb, or chicken shawarma sandwich or kebab served with a choice of appetizer, soup, or salad and a drink, all for under $7. Dinner entrees include tagine, a Mediterranean seafood shish kebab of the day's catch plus shrimp, and filet mignon. The decor is simple and service is efficient; carryout and delivery are available.
