FRIDAY, OCTOBER 27

Shank, Jan Favia, Mat Kelly and Jeff Callen, and Tatsu Aoki and Francis Wong

This evening juxtaposes music and performance art. Shank is a musical duo consisting of violinist Katherine Boyd and accordionist Nancy Andrews, who play original material; Favia presents a multimedia performance/installation work; Kelly and Callen perform The Mut and Jep Incident, a performance piece about duelling performance artists; and Aoki and Wong perform original music on bass, saxophone, and "other strange noise instruments." 8 PM.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 28

Halloween Drag Extravaganza

This seasonal outrage opens with Doug Stapleton--aka Gurlene Hussey--performing his "tragic-comic high-gothic drag opera" Our Whirling Endures. He's followed by Gina Lovoi's Drag Cabaret. 8 PM.

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 29

Gina McLaughlin

and Satan's Black Box

McLaughlin offers monologues and torch songs; Satan's Black Box is a theater piece satirizing the religious right's worst fears about homosexuality. 7 PM.
