Re: “The Man Who Ruined Running

I sung at Carnegie Hall. Should I say people who haven't sung at such an esteemed venue shouldn't call themselves musicians. Or worse yet, that they shouldn't exercise their God given ability to sing to their children? Should I say that children with intellectual delay shouldn't "clog up the halls" of our public schools? Because my kid scores in the genius IQ range on certain tests. No, no, no, and no. Because discriminating like that would make me an elitist ASSHOLE. If you can run a marathon fast, challenge yourself, be glad you can and NEVER EVER begrudge anyone the right to do the same. Everybody on this earth has worth and this should demand dignity and respect. Everybody has challenges and everyone has strengths. Please be more tolerant of those who bring up the rear. They make you look better anyway of that's what you want to worry about most.
