Re: “The color of his skin

Your arguments are tired. Yes we all know Chicago has a racist past and you like many others want blacks to forget about it and believe we have may so much progress. Some might but I am not one of them and don't get me wrong because there are some white n...... that are worse than you all because they have took on your way of thinking. Several cases compared to thousands is nothing. So yout point was what?

Re: “The color of his skin

So sad that this comes down to insults and name calling. There is a lesson to be learned from this story and I thank Mr. Bogira and The Reader paper for publishing this story. yes it is about Joe Henson but as Mr. Bogira stated in his story, this happen to so many black men but the injustice system failed them. If this had been dealt with properlyyears ago, there would not be an article about it. (maybe) but t a fact is it happened and no fairness came out of it but God is fair and Just so everyone will have to stand for his own actions.

Re: “The color of his skin

Akenerson, you said a mouthful in a few lines. She and the others who yell that mess about "you people" are lost and confused. They have nothing else to say anymore but the same tired lines. What they should be worried about now are those white kids shooting up schools and attacking Asian kids in alleys and killing their parents. But if they tell it, it is only blacks, The sad thing about it though is that we still have this same justice system in place that gives these little monsters a slap on the wrist and keep our black men incarcerated. Still, they have treid everything to destroy us but they cannot break us. Thus is the case with this story. A man murdered, taken away from his family and the injustice system let them walk out the door but 40 years later, those men are exposed for their crimes and the injustice system is exposed once again for its dirty affairs. People like Amy are useless.

Tabitha, thanks for your post, Family. There will always be those who fail to understand why the conditions in Englewood exist today. Funny how they can point out everything but what is in their faces. Thanks again for the kind words about the family.
