The Volunteer Center of Northwest Suburban Chicago is offering the workshop "Navigating the Corporate Maze," to provide training for non-profit managers on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010. The workshop will provide insight into corporate initiatives to promote employee volunteerism, community involvement and building relationships with area companies. Attendees are encouraged to also sign up for the March 22 workshop "Connecting Nonprofits to Corporate Responsibility," to take full advantage of all the information available. The class will be held from 9:00 am-noon, at Forest View Education Center, 2121 S. Goebbert Road, Arlington Heights, Ill. The instructor will be Jillian Walsh, director of Corporate Giving and Community Relations for Zurich, North America.
