My thanks to Jack Helbig for giving The Hunchback Variations a Critic's Choice last week [Theater & Performance, March 18]. One important correction though: While I agree that the Redmoon/Court production of Cyrano de Bergerac "seemed truer to its sublime romanticism than many slavishly faithful productions," credit for the dreamy, ingenious adaptation of my translation goes to the work's codirectors, Jim Lasko and Charles Newell, not to me.
