Re: “Nookies Too

Nookies is such a great diner. The menu offers both terrific traditional items (burgers, omlettes, etc.) and slightly exotic ones (Turkey Burger Normandy, artichoke and roasted tomato fritatta). Everything is well made reasonably priced.

Re: “Cafe Bolero

A previous reviewer comlpained of blaring TV's, of which we found none. Instead, we were treated to lively Afro-Cuban music at a perfect volume for conversation, while still being present in the atmosphere. Decor was a nice old-Cuba/brick walls in back and mildly trendy/glassy in front.

The food was excellent, if not adventurous. My oxtail stew and opctopus appetizer had very similar, if not identical sauces. Fortunately, they were both quite good...how I would imagine a Cuban grandmother to cook.

Re: “Hanabi

It is quite refreshing to dine on top-quality sushi without having to dress entirely in black or feel as though one is at a nightclub.
