There isn't much of a story in Michael Patrick O'Brien's slight but agreeable one-act comedy about five rather indistinct friends hanging out in Chicago. Apart from a slow-burning love triangle, there isn't much conflict or tension either. It's still a pleasant way to spend three-quarters of an hour, thanks to a likable cast and O'Brien's knack for dialogue, which can seem strange, funny, and natural all at once. Also on this bill, produced by the Good Fritz Theater Company: Victor Hicks's Reginald Denny's Date, a wonderfully bizarre and unexpectedly poignant mash-up of Three's Company and the 1992 Los Angeles riots. --Zac Thompson a Through 8/4: Fri-Sun 8 PM, Stage Left Theatre, 3408 N. Sheffield, 773-316-2643, $10-$15.
