Since 2004 Plastic Crimewave (aka Steve Krakow) has used the Secret History of Chicago Music to shine a light on worthy artists with Chicago ties who've been forgotten, underrated, or never noticed in the first place.

  • The Moondogs perform "Let Me Roll," written by bassist Mitch Alvarez, at a 2012 reunion concert. A better-sounding studio version of this song is posted at moondogs1979.com, along with many other recordings.
  • Also in 2012, the reunited Moondogs play the Nick Sanabria tune "Has Been."
