Re: “Bricks

Bricks is my favorite pizza place in Chicago. Their spinach salad is one of the best I've ever had and the "painful" pizza--jalapeno and pepperoni--is to die for.

I would HIGHLY recommend Brick's pizza!!

Re: “Catch 35

Catch 35 is a great place for a nice, fun dinner. The food was outstanding, as was the service! he wine selection was also quite good--a lot of great options with prices for everyone's budget.

We started with the appetizer special of sesame tuna sashimi (WONDERFUL!!) and the crab cakes. I chose to have the halibut topped with crab, portabella mushrooms and a menuere sauce. I was not dissappointed. My dining companions chose to go with the crab legs, lobster and filet. Based on the lack of talking once our entrees were served, I would say that they were quite pleased as well.

We chose to wrap the evening up with the creme brulee which was to die for. I cannot wait to dine at Catch 35 again!

Re: “Galway Arms

Galway Arms is one of my favorite places in Lincoln Park to stop in for a drink and some appetizers.

The crabcakes are not only beautiful, but taste wonderful. The deep fried mushrooms come with a sauce that is delicious as well. I would also highly suggest the chicken strips--cooked perfectly.

It's a cute little bar with a great patio overlooking Clark Street. Great place to just sit back and take it all in while enjoying a beer.

Re: “Tilli's

We stopped by Tilli's for brunch one Sunday morning and were pleasantly surprised. The food was good. My husband had the jerk-seasoned salmon, which was delicious. I had a egg sandwich with pancetta--again, quite good.

The service was just okay--the bartender wasn't very prompt at refilling drinks. All in all, it was a nice meal for a reasonable price. We'd go back.

Re: “Four Farthings Tavern & Grill

We decided to stop into Four Farthings for a burger at the bar. The food was okay - nothing special. The service, again, was okay. With the vast number of burger joints near this area, I don't see myself frequenting the Four Farthings too often. I'd rather walk a couple blocks further to Stanley's or the Lion's Head Pub.

Re: “Galway Arms

We stopped at Galway Arms for a burger and were pleased with our meals. Mostly the menu contained your basic pub food, but there were some nice alternatives as well.

The chicken strips and mozzarella sticks on the appetizer menu were also quite tasty.

Re: “Bricks

I loved the atmosphere of Brick's. It felt as if we had stepped back in time when entering the restaurant.

I found the pizza to be delicious with a lot of unique topping choices. I will definitely enjoy pizza at Brick's again in the near future.
