The dinner last night was exceptional. My out of town guests can't stop taking about this place, I will gladly take them again before they leave!. The service is wonderful and the food is incredible. They treat you like family there, and it sure feels like it!!! A very convenient liquor store across the street in case you forgot to bring your wine. I wish them all the best, and I'll be back many times!!!

My friends and i arrived about five minutes late from the time of our reservation (8:00 pm). The restaurant was full of people, and the staff were very nice in holding our table. As soon as we entered the restaurant, the Hostess came and greeted us, and lead us to the only table available (it had a "reserved" sign on it). The waiter came right away with bread (try the wheat bread, its delicious) and with glasses of red wine. Interestingly enough, unlike many BYOB places, they have different kind of glasses for many types of alcohol, including wine. Then he told us the specials in a very proffesional way, they all sounded delicious!!! So much that we decided to try them all. I had the soup du jour Chipotle corn chowder, then we had the white asparragus (simply amazing!!!), my friends ordered the sauteed white fish with garlic mashed potatos, sundried tomatoes, sauteed spinach in a rosemary butter side, they also had the stuffed gnochi with gorgonzola and a 4 cheese sauce. That was also AMAZING. I had the chicken saltambuca that comes with melted provolone cheese, prosciutto, roasted red potatoes and it's prepared with a butter saige sauce. It was one of the best chickens i have ever had.

To complete our meal we splitted the special dessert, a bittersweet chocolate cake with melted hot chocolate inside, vanilla ice cream, caramel and chocolat cognac sauce. WOW!!!

The food and service can be compared to any upscale restaurant in the north michigan avenue strip. I've been here a few times before, but this restaurant is in my heavy rotation list, i highly recommend it.

I had the most wonderful experience in this place. I went on a saturday night. The place was busy, but not too crowded, and right after you enter you feel a warm welcome from the waiters and the owners wife. As an appetizer i had the deep fried calamari with asian barbeque sauce. That's something you have to try, it's excellent. We also had the Think salad and the cream of potato soup. The salad is made with lettuce, nuts and blue cheese, topped by a very fresh pear cut in slices, it's just wonderful. As an entree i had one of the specials, a seafood rotollo, which is a roll of pasta filled with crab mean, ricotta cheese and shrimp, topped with scallops and calamari with a roasted pepper sauce. Honestly that was the best pasta dish i have ever had. It gets even better with the dessert. Omar the chef (who is also the owner) make his own desserts, and i tried his chocolate expresso cake, it was excelent!!! Our server's name was Miguel, very professional, educated, friendly and good looking!! After we finished our meal, the owner's wife came to our table and we had a very nice conversation, she is so nice you feel like you are part of the family. I truly recommend this place if you are looking for something very special. It is BYOB, and there's a liquor store right across the street for our convenience. I'm looking forward to go to dinner again, and to taste their brunch on saturdays and sundays.
